Car hire in Marijampolė: a car or a minibus?

There are various reasons why you might need to hire a vehicle in Marijampolė: your own car has broken down, you need to transport some items, you have guests arriving, or you’re planning a trip. The most important thing is to choose the right vehicle straight away, so you don’t end up paying for what you don’t need.

When is a car enough?

• Everyday errands and trips – when your own car is being repaired or you don’t have one.
• Travelling with family or friends – the Opel Astra estate has 5 seats.
• Small deliveries – a spacious, versatile boot, and with the rear seats folded down, there’s room for larger items too.

An Opel Astra estate (2009) is available to hire for €25 per day, with a minimum hire period of 2 days.

When do you need a minibus?

• Removals – furniture, household appliances, lots of boxes.
• Long or bulky loads – building materials, panels, equipment.
• Business transport – goods to customers or from suppliers.

Cargo vans – the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Super Max (15.5 m³ cargo space) and the Volkswagen Crafter – are available to hire for €55 per day.

What is the same for all vehicles?

• A Category B driving licence is sufficient; drivers must be at least 22 years old and have at least two years’ driving experience.
• 400 km per day included; each additional kilometre costs €0.12.
• Deposit – €50, fuel – full–full.
• Cheaper rates for longer-term hire.

How to choose quickly
