How much can fit into a cargo van: dimensions of the Sprinter Super Max and Crafter

When choosing a cargo van, the three most important measurements are: the length of the load compartment, its height, and the width between the wheel arches. These are the factors that determine whether a long or tall item will fit.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Super Max (2013)

• Cargo compartment volume – 15.5 m³
• Length – approx. 4.70 m
• Internal height – approximately 1.94 m
• Width between the arches – 1.35 m
• Vehicle length – 7.34 m

Volkswagen Crafter (2016)

• Length of the cargo area – 3.62 m
• Height – 2.14 m
• Width – 1.78 m, distance between the wheel arches – 1.35 m
• Floor area – 6.5 m²

How to check if it will fit

• Length. If your load is longer than 3.6 m, choose the Sprinter Super Max.
• The width between the wheel arches is 1.35 m on both sides. Load wider items (such as panels) above the wheel arches or place them on their side.
• Height. The Crafter offers more space for tall items that need to be transported upright.
